Date: 04/20/2008
Time: 7:35am
Duration: 2:42:58
Location: Neighborhood loop
Sport: Running
Workout: 1.75-2.75 hour run
Distance: 15.82 miles
Weather: Overcast, in the low 60s, drizzled a tiny bit briefly
People: Alone
Comments:
Again started a little later than I intended. My legs felt pretty darn heavy when I started out. I had intended to run on the TLT, 'cause Erin thought she wanted to run with me (and I couldn't convince her of how wrong she was), but then she ended up running Saturday instead, so I just ran from my house. I couldn't seem to come up with a plan of where to run, so I thought I'd run an out and back on the marathon course. Then when I finally got to Shoal Creek, that sounded complicated, so I just took a right and ran down Shoal Creek all the way to 38th.
Meandered about, ended up with an annoyingly hilly section (Hart hills plus North Hills hill.. man, that North Hills hill isn't even notable after the Hart hills) in the middle, then the end was all my normal neighborhood areas.
Dinner Saturday night was non-ideal before a long run, and I ended up stopping 3 times to use the bathroom (one portapotty on Shoal Creek, once at Russell's Bakery, and once at my parents' house).
My legs were pretty tired by the end, but it felt good to have done a run that long again. I think that's longer than any run I did training for CdA last year, actually. By a couple miles. Huh.
